Lennart Fedler, who has already gained profound insights into our field through his work as a research assistant, is now established as a permanent scientist in our team. During his academic career at the department, which included both his bachelor's and master’s thesis, he conducted intensive research on the growth of microalgae under various irradiation conditions.

His outstanding master thesis focused on the systematic analysis of algal physiology under different light spectra. Lennart will continue his research and develop innovative methods to influence and optimize algal biology through specific lighting techniques. We warmly welcome him to the department!
