Alexander Herzog named IEEE Senior Member

Dr.-Ing. Alexander Herzog from the Department of Adaptive Lighting Systems and Visual Processing has been named a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the world’s largest technical professional association.

This prestigious status is awarded to only about ten percent of the more than 423,000 IEEE members worldwide, recognizing long-standing professional experience as well as significant scientific and professional achievements. To be eligible for the Senior Member designation, candidates must have at least ten years of professional experience and have made outstanding contributions for a period of at least five of those years. Additionally, the recommendation of at least three high-ranking IEEE members who themselves hold the status of Fellow, Senior Member, or Honorary Member is required.
