ETiT Pupils’ Project Days 2022

From May 31 up to June 2, the Pupils’ Project Days took place again in Presence. Female students from grades 5 to 11 were able to experience electrical engineering and information technology in workshops.
On three days, the two research assistants Anil Erkan and Julian Klabes of the Laboratory of Adaptive Lighting Systems and Visual Processing accompanied a group of nine female students of the 7th and 8th grade in the workshop “The Decoding of Light and Colors”. In addition to programming a microcontroller, the participants learned the basics of visual perception and the mixing of light colors, which could be directly applied in practice with the help of an RGB LED and a control system programmed by the students themselves.
