Visit of the ALSVV Laboratory at Istanbul Technical University (ITU)

The Laboratory of Adaptive Lighting Systems and Visual Processing visited the Energy Institute of Istanbul Technical University (ITU) to discuss future collaborations in the field of automotive and street lighting.
In urban traffic areas, both street lighting systems and motor vehicle headlights are responsible for illuminating the roadway. It is particularly important to investigate to what extent and in what form these two systems influence each other and thus the overall lighting situation in urban traffic areas. The visit of the ALSVV laboratory at the ITU served to discuss research and future cooperation possibilities with the street lighting experts Prof. Sermin Onaygil, Prof. Önder Güler and Dr. Berker Yurtseven, in order to realise an adaptively optimised overall lighting situation in urban traffic situations.
