This year's SIA VISION conference took place in Paris from October 19 to 20, 2022. The working group Automotive Lighting Technology of the Laboratory of Adaptive Lighting Systems and Visual Processing was also present with two presentations.

On 07/28/2022, the project “AI-based modeling of photosynthesis as a function of radiation intensity, wavelength and pulse modulation” (Project No. 500805487) was approved. Applicants: Prof. Dr. Ralf Kaldenhoff, Applied Plant Science and Prof. Dr. – Ing. habil Tran Quoc Khanh, Laboratory of Adaptive Lighting Systems and Visual Processing.

Summer party and general meeting of the association of friends 2022

On July 8, the annual summer party of the “Verein der Freunde des Fachgebiets Lichttechnik der Technische Universität Darmstadt e.V.” (“Association of Friends of the Laboratory of Lighting Technology of the TU Darmstadt e.V.”) took place for the first time since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. After the annual general meeting, around 60 members, friends of the department as well as guests came together in sunny weather to exchange ideas and celebrate.
