Applicants: Prof. Dr. Ralf Kaldenhoff, Applied Plant Science and Prof. Dr. – Ing. habil Tran Quoc Khanh, Laboratory of Adaptive Lighting Systems and Visual Processing.

Summer party and general meeting of the association of friends 2022

On July 8, the annual summer party of the “Verein der Freunde des Fachgebiets Lichttechnik der Technische Universität Darmstadt e.V.” (“Association of Friends of the Laboratory of Lighting Technology of the TU Darmstadt e.V.”) took place for the first time since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. After the annual general meeting, around 60 members, friends of the department as well as guests came together in sunny weather to exchange ideas and celebrate.

Technical excursion with students of the specialization SAE 2022

From May 16 to 20, the technical excursion of the specialization SAE (Sensors, Actuators, Electronics) took place under this year's organization of the Laboratory of Adaptive Lighting Systems and Visual Processing. For 5 days several companies in the field of the specialization and with focus in the field of lighting technology were visited: Integrated Dynamics Engineering in Raunheim, MA Lighting in Waldbüttelbrunn near Würzburg, Diehl Aerospace in Nuremberg, AUDI in Ingolstadt as well as ARRI and ARRK in Munich.

From May 31 up to June 2, the Pupils’ Project Days took place again in Presence. Female students from grades 5 to 11 were able to experience electrical engineering and information technology in workshops.

Vom 05. Bis 07. Oktober 2021 fand die Jahrestagung der Deutschen farbwissenschaftlichen Gesellschaft e.V. im Hause der Image Engineering GmbH & Co. KG in Kerpen-Horrem statt. In zahlreichen Vorträgen wurden verschiedenste Fragen der Farbwissenschaft behandelt.
